Amana Saddle Fitting Services is run by Louise, an International Academy of Saddle Fitters (IASF) Level 4 Qualified Saddle Fitter. Currently based in the South East of the UK, Louise provides independent saddle fitting consultations and new saddle trials primarily across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire but does go further afield upon request and is happy to serve overseas clients.
Louise has accounts with several brands and is able to procure both new and second hand saddles to meet her clients’ needs. Louise is insured and continuously strives to improve her equine knowledge by shadowing other fitters and equine professionals, completing CPD training and attending webinars, courses and clinics on various equine topics.
‘Amana’ (أمانة) comes from the Arabic word, ‘Amanah’ which has multiple meanings – these include honesty, loyalty, integrity, and trust. To have an ‘Amanah’ means to hold responsibility towards something or someone, a faithfulness or devotion. When I started my business I knew I wanted my business to encompass all of these things, in the best interests of my clients and their horses.
Horses are a privilege to own and as stoic, forgiving and notably expensive creatures to fund, I want to only offer a service where the client feels that the support they receive is personal and tailored to theirs and their horses’ specific needs.
